If there were ever evidence of the disdain some people have for President Obama, here it is. Apparently some GOP lawmakers sent a letter to Iran warning them that any agreement of an arms deal could be rescinded once President Obama leaves office. That’s ludicrous.
This actually sounds like they have a side deal the GOPers are making with a foreign government. Correspondence from the United States to any foreign government should come from the White House. Otherwise, it looks like we’re shady and not of one accord, like they’re negotiating privately with them. (Isn’t that what Oliver North did? I know that was a little different and that it was much more to that story, but its not really all that different in principle). Maybe that’s not the case here, but that’s how it appears, and we all know appearances are everything. It is much disrespect and inexcusable, even if you don’t like his presidential decisions. But this disrespect is not accident. But people will sometimes say that it’s just paranoia to think this way.
What about the Fox news story about a rape suspect in which they mistakenly used a picture of President Obama. Was it really an honest mistake or a deliberate, orchestrated attempt to eat away at President Obama’s resolve? Or what about the erroneous (dishonest) facts reported by Fox news regarding government spending? Some say it was meant to discredit President Obama? Think about it.
Each incident by itself could seem benign. But collectively, it clearly looks like they hate the man. The recent incident of Congress members communicating privately with Iranian leaders is the final straw. I don’t think anybody can say this examples amount to paranoia. I could come up with other examples but I think you get the idea.
